I am super lucky to get to be a part of a super cute (and super huge!) bunny maid group for AWA! I get to use turquoise as my main color, and I decided my theme will be music! I’ve always been a huge band nerd (in fact, I still play flute in a community band) so it really fits me.
So far I’ve collected all of the materials except for flowers, which I’m waiting on a certain coupon for. I already had the music note fabric fortunately (its where I got my theme idea!) I also found super cute wittle bitty bunny buttons for the front of the bodice. >^.^< I figured out the princess seam bodice from a pattern I already have. I’ve cut out all the pieces for it + the skirt and sleeves (from a Dorothy pattern), and now I have the bodice sewn together and fitted. Thats it for now!

I have a dress! I added white cuffs to the sleeves and attached them. Then I gathered and added the skirt (2 circle skirts, one split in the back) and attached the bias tape. I sewed 3 packs together and ended up using about 2 and 1/4. Then I added the zipper and 1/4 inch bias tape to the neckline, and finished it with the pleated ruffles.
Next up is the apron! I’ll add my buttons once I have the apron on.

Yay, I’m done! The apron took me about an afternoon, and I probably spent 20 min throwing the ears together xD. The apron is in sections with seams lining up with the dress. It ties in the back with super long tails into a bow, and the straps are sewn just before where it ties. I satin stitched the music note fabric heart on with turquoise thread.
I wore it Sunday at AWA and I think it turned out great!
