I made Love Live! Honoka, Valetine “Chocolate Hats” version with a group for Katsucon 2016. All of the fabric and notion choices were chosen and mailed to me by my group members. I used a variety of frankensteined patterns to come up with this outfit. I hand made all of my gold bias tape. The skirt is just a long rectangle that I pleated (after adding the trim to the bottom). Since I was able to use the patterns, this was a pretty straightforward, easy costume to make. Other group members made our hats and flags (shown in the gallery).

For Katsucon 2016 I made Honoka’s Love Live! Snowy Mountain outfit for a group. There is not much to say about the construction. I draped the shape on my dressform and drew on the front cutout for my top pattern. The skirt is just 2 big circle skirts trimmed with ribbon, bias tape, and sherpa fur. I glued little flowers and rhinestones to the red bias tape. I made the headphones out of a headband and empty ribbon spools. I included lots of pics of that since it was probably the most interesting part of the costume. :) One of our group members made the suede corsets so they would match.
